The Ultimate Cape Town escape

Upon arrival at Cape Town Airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Set at the confluence of the Indian and Atlantic oceans and backed by the iconic Table Mountain, the bustling city of Cape Town presents an alluring combination of drawcards. Incredible powdery white beaches, highly acclaimed wine routes, and astonishingly beautiful mountain trails surround a cosmopolitan hub. This diverse metropolis is filled with superb shops and restaurants, extraordinary heritage monuments, a multitude of entertainment venues, and a spectacular, chic waterfront harbour. Highlights include the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary African Art; Table Mountain’s jaw-dropping views; Boulders Beach, where penguins might swim right up to you in the warm Indian ocean waters; the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, where you can walk along a treetop canopy among incredible native flora or watch an open-air concert at the base of the mountain; Robben Island, where visitors can see the cell where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years; and many more. Later this afternoon, after checking in and freshening up, your driver will take you to Table Mountain (weather permitting). Return to the hotel for overnight.

At 08:00 am, pick-up at your hotel for a full-day tour of Cape Point. Your first stop will be a cruise to seal island through the scenic Chapman’s peak drive (if open). Then you transfer to boulders beach to see African penguins. At 1:00 pm, lunch will be served at Seaforth Restaurant. Transfer to Cape Point nature reserve and go up the funicular. When back in Cape Town, you will have a photo-stop at Bo-Kaap. Return to your hotel for overnight.

After breakfast, you will get to enjoy a full-day tour of the Cape Winelands. This will include a stop at two wine farms for wine-tasting and a cellar tour. Enjoy the undulating hills and the beautiful landscape. Lunch will be served at one of the wine farms. Return to the hotel for overnight.

At 06:00 am, pick-up at your hotel for this exciting full-day tour to Aquila Game Reserve. The transfer and tour will be shared with other clients, and the scenic journey (approx. 2 hours) takes you through the Cape Winelands and the Hex River Mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy a hearty buffet breakfast. Then, embark on a guided 2- to 3-hour open-air 4x4 safari drive. An experienced guide will help you search for the Big 5 (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard) and other wildlife like giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Back to the Aquila Private Game Reserve & Spa, enjoy a buffet lunch before spending some free time at the resort. Additional activity can be done on site at the client expenses. Around 4:30 pm, begin the drive back to Cape Town. Return to the hotel for overnight.

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel for your transfer to the airport.
