DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN VENICE

Upon arrival, transfer on your own to the hotel and check in. In the afternoon, meet the Tour leader in the hotel lobby and head out on a walking tour to discover the beauty of Venice, known as “La Serenissima”. Combining must-see sites and hidden corners, your guide will take you to the heart of the city in just two hours; giving you a broad overview of the history, culture and character of the Floating City. Optional: at the conclusion of your tour, your local insider will leave you in the expert hands of a professional gondolier for a half-hour excursion through the romantic city’s canals. Sit back and enjoy exploring the city as it is meant to be seen – from the water. This is your time to relax, unwind, and enjoy Venice at its best. Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 2 VENICE

After breakfast, you have the day at leisure. You can explore Murano’s glassblowing workshops and Murano Glass Museum, enjoy a gondola ride, and choose an optional guided tour of the Doge’s Palace or St. Marks Basilica with skip-the-line tickets. Lose yourself in the back lanes and quiet squares, where tourists seldom tread and the Venetians go about their daily lives.

DAY 3 VENICE - FLORENCE

After breakfast, board the high-speed train to Florence, the Cradle of Renaissance. Arriving at your destination, you will take a walking tour of the city, including: Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge), with its dazzling jewelers. Portico of the Galleria degli Uffizi (entry not included) to Piazza della Signoria, the magnificent Florence Cathedral, “Santa Maria del Fiore” to admire its dome, a masterpiece by Brunelleschi. In front of the Cathedral, the Baptistery with its golden bronze doors ’’Gates of Paradise’’, narrate biblical scenes related to baptism. Transfer to your hotel. Optional: enjoy an exclusive and traditional dinner in the heart of Florence with the famous Florentine-style T-bone steak, “Bistecca Fiorentina”. Walk back to your hotel.

DAY 4 FLORENCE - SAN GIMIGNANO, SIENA, AND CHIANTI

After breakfast, embark on a Tuscan adventure! San Gimignano, Siena with the Chianti tour with lunch and wine tasting, a fully guided excursion to discover the beauty of Tuscany and visit its enchanting medieval towns. Discover the beautiful art city of Siena with a knowledgeable guide will take you on a walk through the town’s picturesque narrow streets. See the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful squares in Italy, a brick-paved square where the famous “Palio” horserace is held twice a year. Admire the magnificent Cathedral and the tall and trim Torre del Mangia. After the guided tour, enjoy your free time to wonder Siena at your own pace, to shop around or have an Italian espresso. On the way to San Gimignano, admire the Tuscan landscape driving through marvelous postcard views surrounded by olive trees, vines, and old stone buildings. Next stop is at a family-owned wine estate located in the typical Tuscan landscape with amazing views of vines and olive trees. Here you will have time to relax and enjoy a proper Tuscan lunch that gives you a taste of country hospitality. After lunch, we will reach San Gimignano and end the day in complete relax mode. Famous for its splendid skyline of tall Medieval towers, here you will have free time to explore the main street full of typical shops, have a look at the “Collegiata” (main church), or enjoy a gelato! Your perfect day trip to Siena, San Gimignano and the Tuscan countryside ends with a comfortable ride back to Florence.

DAY 5 FLORENCE - DAY AT LEISURE

Enjoy a day at leisure in Florence. Our suggested optional tours, to make the most of your visit and explore the treasures of the city: The famous Galleria degli Uffizi, which contains one of the most important art collections in the world, and the Galleria dell’ Accademia where you can admire the original statue of Michelangelo’s David. Alternatively, you could choose a tour to visit “Cinque Terre”, or a visit to another Tuscan city. Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 6 FLORENCE - NAPLES - POMPEII - SORRENTO

You will start your journey early in the morning and board your high-speed train to Naples. After a 3-hours ride, you will reach Naples. Then you will transfer to the excavations of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii where an expert guide will show you the dramatic history of the Roman city destroyed and buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. Once the tour is over, you will head to the Sorrento hotel with a private transfer. Check-in at the hotel. Find your luggage already delivered to your room. Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 7 SORRENTO - CAPRI

After breakfast enjoy a full day excursion to Capri. Transfer to the harbour of Sorrento and reach the enchanting Isle of Capri, favorite vacation spot oof the emperor Tiberius. Upon arrival at the port of Marina Grande being your trip around the island seeing: the “Scugnizzo” Welcoming Statue, Tiberius’ leap, the Coral Grotto, Natural arch, Villa Malaparte, Faraglioni, the Bay of Marina Piccola, Siren’s rock, Green Grotto, Punta Carena lighthouse, and if sea and weather conditions permit, also the famous Blue Grotto (the visit inside the sea cave by row boat is not included in the price of the trip and must be purchased separately at the entrance to the Blue Grotto). After returning to Marina Grande a minibus will take you up to reach Ana Capri and the “Piazzetta” for spectacular views. There you will have free time to experience the ’très chic’ atmosphere of Capri. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8 SORRENTO - AMALFI COAST

The day begins with a transfer to the Port of Sorrento for a full day cruise and tour down the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy a scenic ride along the coastline from Sorrento to Amalfi passing through Positano, the Pearl of the Coast. Stop in Positano and spend some free time exploring and visiting the colorful boutiques and have lunch near the marina. In the early afternoon continue to Amalfi, another jewel of the Costiera with the Cathedral of “Sant’ Andrea” which overlooks the small bay and with houses built on the terraces of the hills overlooking the sea. Return to Sorrento at sunset. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 9 SORRENTO - ROME

After breakfast in Sorrento depart by private transfer to Naples train station and board the high-speed train to Rome. Upon your arrival in the Eternal City take advantage of the Hop-on Hop-Off bus ticket to get a panoramic tour of top sights such as the Colosseum and Roman Forums. Continue with the walking tour ‘’Highlights of Rome’’ to discover the Baroque Rome, and admire Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, an ancient pagan temple transformed into a church. Transfer back to your hotel for check-in. Find your luggage already delivered to your room.

DAY 10 ROME - DAY AT LEISURE

In the morning OPTIONAL visit of the Vatican Museums that treasures rich collections of art from all periods with masterpieces such as the Last Judgment by Michelangelo Buonarroti in the Sistine Chapel. Optional: In the evening transfer and farewell dinner in the famous Trastevere, a bohemian neighborhood on the other side of the river Tiber, home of artists and creatives, a meeting point for both Romans and visitors to live “una serata romana”. Transfer back to your hotel and overnight.
