    DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN MUMBAI

    Welcome to India! Upon arrival at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai, you will deplane and proceed through immigration and customs. Once you have completed the formalities, a representative holding a paging board will greet you and escort you to your vehicle. You will then be transferred to your selected hotel. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and assisted with check-in. When in Mumbai, be like Neo from the blockbuster movie The Matrix: take the red pill and tumble down the rabbit hole. The deeper you go, the more you will discover about this fascinating city. Mumbai is a city of dreams and home to Bollywood, the world’s largest film industry, producing nearly 1,000 films each year. It is estimated that more than 2,000 aspiring actors arrive in Mumbai every day to chase their Bollywood dreams. A vibrant and bustling cosmopolitan metropolis, Mumbai is a true melting pot of cultures. Above all, it is a city of stories, everyone here has one to tell. The rest of the day will be at leisure to relax and acclimatize to the Indian climate and time zone.

    DAY 2 MUMBAI – NAGPUR – TADOBA NATIONAL PARK

    After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight to Nagpur. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative and driven to Tadoba Tiger Reserve. The rest of the day will be at leisure. Located in the state of Maharashtra, Tadoba National Park, also known as Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, is one of the finest tiger reserves in India and is renowned for its large population of the majestic Bengal tiger. It is also home to a wide variety of mammals, reptiles, birds, and insects.

    DAY 3 TADOBA NATIONAL PARK

    Enjoy a morning and afternoon jeep safari in Tadoba National Park, renowned for its exceptional wildlife. Discover its lush forests, home to the Bengal tiger, sloth bear, Indian wild dog (dhole), rusty-spotted cat, sambar deer, barking deer, leopard, and chausingha, among many other mammals. Tadoba Lake, the park’s primary water source, is also home to marsh crocodiles. Birdwatchers will have the opportunity to spot over 250 species of birds. Tadoba is also home to more than 174 species of butterflies as well as several types of reptiles. Its densely forested hills, interspersed with open meadows and valleys and dotted with caves, cliffs, and rocky outcrops, provide an ideal habitat for a wide variety of wildlife.

    Start your day once again with an exciting early morning jeep safari, followed by another thrilling safari in the afternoon.

    DAY 5 TADOBA NATIONAL PARK – PENCH NATIONAL PARK

    After breakfast, drive to Pench National Park (approximate driving time: 2 hours). Situated on the banks of the Pench River, Pench National Park is one of the most renowned national parks in Madhya Pradesh. Its dense and mysterious forests served as the backdrop for Rudyard Kipling’s famous novel The Jungle Book. The Bengal tiger is the park’s most iconic predator. You can also find leopards, Indian wild dogs (dholes), hyenas, wolves, jackals, and a variety of small wild cats. The park is home to a multitude of animals and over 210 species of local and migratory birds. Rhesus macaques also inhabit the forests of Pench National Park.

    DAY 6 PENCH NATIONAL PARK

    You will have the day to enjoy an early morning and afternoon jeep safari in the company of experienced naturalists at Pench National Park. Each safari will last approximately 3 hours. Safaris are booked through the park authorities and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. As the number of jeeps is limited, a jeep safari cannot be guaranteed.

    DAY 7 PENCH NATIONAL PARK – SATPURA NATIONAL PARK

    Today, after breakfast, you will drive to Satpura. The rest of the day is at leisure. The Satpura Tiger Reserve combines Satpura National Park, Bori Wildlife Sanctuary, and Pachmarhi Sanctuary to create one of India’s most pristine and least explored wildlife habitats. Often regarded as one of the country’s best-kept secrets, it allows visitors to experience true wilderness without the crowds. The park offers a wide variety of unique activities. In addition to jeep, elephant, and boat safaris, Satpura is the only park of its kind in Central India to offer walking safaris, giving enthusiasts a rare opportunity to explore tiger territory on foot. Visitors are likely to encounter leopards, sloth bears, Indian wild dogs, herds of Indian gaur, sambar deer, and other herbivores of Central India, and, if luck is on your side, the magnificent Bengal tiger. Satpura also marks the northernmost range of the Malabar giant squirrel. Its remarkable diversity of wildlife, abundant bird species, numerous endemic butterflies, and the luxury of exploring 1,500 square kilometers of classic Central Indian habitat in multiple ways make Satpura a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. With its rugged terrain of sandstone peaks, narrow gorges, ravines, and dense forests, Satpura National Park offers a truly challenging and unforgettable experience.

    DAY 8 SATPURA NATIONAL PARK

    In the morning, you will embark on a jeep safari through the park, accompanied by an experienced naturalist who will guide you and provide fascinating insights into the park’s diverse ecosystem. The afternoon will also be dedicated to another exciting jeep safari.

    DAY 9 SATPURA NATIONAL PARK – BHOPAL – DELHI

    This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, you will complete your checkout formalities and drive to Bhopal to catch your onward flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Delhi is not just one city; within it lie several distinct cities, each with its own unique charm. From a historical perspective, what we see today is the result of seven ancient cities that were built, plundered, destroyed, and rebuilt over the course of several centuries. The vibrant metropolis you see now stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of Delhi, a city that is unapologetically bold and eclectic beneath its cultured exterior.
