DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN DUBLIN

Welcome to Ireland! Upon arrival at Dublin Airport, pick up your rental car and head to your hotel in the heart of the capital. The city buzzes with culture, history, and an unmistakable charm. If time allows, begin your adventure by strolling through the cobbled streets of Temple Bar or visiting the magnificent Trinity College, home to the illuminated Book of Kells. Stop by the National Museum of Ireland for a glimpse into the island’s fascinating past before enjoying a relaxed evening at a cozy pub with traditional Irish music. Overnight in Dublin.

DAY 2 DUBLIN - GALWAY

After breakfast, continue exploring Dublin’s highlights. Admire the Gothic architecture of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Ireland’s largest church, or delve into the city’s whiskey-making heritage with a tour and tasting at the Old Jameson Distillery (+$). Later, set out on your drive to the west coast (approx. 200 km), travelling through rolling farmland and charming villages until you reach Galway, a lively harbour city known for its colourful streets, friendly locals, and vibrant arts scene. Enjoy a leisurely evening along the Spanish Arch or the waterfront promenade of Salthill. Overnight in Galway.

DAY 3 CONNEMARA

Today, immerse yourself in the wild beauty of Connemara, a region of rugged landscapes and poetic charm. The route takes you past shimmering lakes, granite mountains, and windswept boglands dotted with sheep. Visit Clifden, the “capital” of Connemara, and take in panoramic views along the Sky Road, where every turn reveals another postcard-perfect vista. This is Ireland at its most untamed—where the Atlantic meets endless green hills and traditional stone cottages still dot the countryside. Return to Galway for the night.

DAY 4 KERRY

After breakfast, begin your journey southward through County Clare, a region known for its dramatic coastal scenery and the unique lunar-like landscape of The Burren, where rare wildflowers thrive. Continue along the coastline to the spectacular Cliffs of Moher, rising 214 metres above the Atlantic Ocean - one of Ireland’s most iconic sights. Pause to take in the sweeping views of the Aran Islands before continuing through the lush fields and quaint towns of Limerick en route to County Kerry. Overnight in Kerry.

DAY 5 RING OF KERRY

Today’s journey is a highlight of any visit to Ireland: the legendary Ring of Kerry, a 170 km loop through the breathtaking Iveragh Peninsula. Follow winding coastal roads past glittering lakes, rugged mountains, and sweeping ocean views. Stop in charming towns such as Killorglin, famous for its Puck Fair, Waterville, beloved by Charlie Chaplin, and Sneem, known for its brightly painted houses. End the day with the tranquil scenery of the Lakes of Killarney and perhaps a stroll through Killarney National Park.

DAY 6 DINGLE PENINSULA - LIMERICK

Today, explore the wild and dramatic Dingle Peninsula, where rolling green hills meet crashing Atlantic waves. This region has inspired poets and filmmakers alike - Ryan’s Daughter was filmed amid its stunning scenery. Visit Slea Head Drive for awe-inspiring coastal views and take time to appreciate the ancient beehive huts and early Christian monuments scattered throughout the area. In the afternoon, drive to Limerick, a lively riverside city with medieval roots and a growing arts scene. Overnight in Limerick.

DAY 7 DUBLIN

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Dublin (approx. 200 km). Once back in the capital, enjoy your last full day at leisure - perhaps explore Grafton Street’s boutiques, relax in St. Stephen’s Green, or visit the Guinness Storehouse for a final taste of Irish tradition. Toast your adventure with a pint and some live music at a classic Dublin pub. Overnight in Dublin.

DAY 8 DEPARTURE FROM DUBLIN
