Any specific request concerning the type of bedding (double bed/separate beds) depends on availability and may be subject to a supplemental fee.
Occupancy:

– Babies are not allowed.
– Children’s age: 2 – 11 years.
– Single rooms available at extra cost.

If, due to airline schedules, the first and last day is shortened by a late arrival or early departure, there will be no refund. Likewise, any meal included in the boarding package that is not taken due to these schedules, cannot be refunded. Also, depending on the timetable of any optional extras and excursions, any meals that are not taken at the hotel, will be charged to the client.

TRANSFER INFORMATION:
Shuttle transfer from Kansai Airport (KIX) or Itami Airport (ITM) to your hotel and then to Tokyo Airport: The transfer is by shared shuttle bus. The shuttle will drop you off at your hotel and may make several stops along the way. For the return transfer, the shuttle will drop you off at the airport and may make several stops along the way. One piece of luggage per person is included; if you have additional luggage, please contact us before your departure.

For Kyoto and Osaka, this service is subject to arrival at Kansai Airport (KIX) or Itami Airport (ITM) between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. Outside these hours, a supplement for a private transfer may be offered.If arriving at Kobe Airport (UKB), transfers will be at your own expense.

DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN OSAKA

Upon arrival to Osaka, transfer to your hotel by shared shuttle bus. Pick up your pocket Wi-Fi at the hotel reception to enjoy internet during your trip. Overnight in Tokyo.

DAY 2 OSAKA

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Suggested visits: Explore Osaka Castle, then experience the lively atmosphere of Dotonbori, with its neon lights, street food, and vibrant nightlife. Overnight in Osaka.

DAY 3 OSAKA - HIROSHIMA

Breakfast at the hotel. Activate your 7-day JR West All Area Pass. Head to Shin-Osaka Station to catch the train to Hiroshima. Overnight stay in Hiroshima. Recommendation: In Hiroshima, visit the Peace Memorial Park and its museum for a poignant immersion in the country’s history.

DAY 4 HIROSHIMA

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Overnight stay in Hiroshima. Recommendation: Take a stroll around the sacred island of Miyajima. Amongst free-roaming deer, peaceful temples, and forest trails, admire the famous floating torii gate at Itsukushima Shrine, one of Japan’s most iconic landmarks.

DAY 5 HIROSHIMA - OKAYAMA

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Travel to Hiroshima Station to catch the train to Okayama using your pass. Overnight stay in Okayama. Recommendation: Visit the splendid Korakuen Garden, a jewel of Japanese landscaping, then travel to Kurashiki to explore its historic district with peaceful canals and preserved merchant houses.

DAY 6 OKAYAMA - KYOTO

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Travel to Okayama Station to catch the train to Kyoto using your pass. Overnight stay in Kyoto. Recommendation: The Arashiyama district in Kyoto is a must-see. Stroll through its famous bamboo forest, discover its peaceful temples, and admire the natural landscapes along the Hozu River.

DAY 7 KYOTO

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Overnight stay in Kyoto. Recommendation: The Gion district in Kyoto. Try to catch a glimpse of the maiko-san as you stroll through its historic streets, lined with wooden houses and traditional lanterns. In the evening, continue the experience with a magical walk to the Fushimi Inari Shrine and its thousands of illuminated torii gates.

DAY 9 KYOTO - KANAZAWA

Breakfast at the hotel and departure by train to Kanazawa. Free day. Overnight stay in Kanazawa. Recommendation: The Higashi Chaya district in Kanazawa. Stroll among its century-old teahouses, cobbled streets, and wooden facades for a glimpse into Japan’s past.

DAY 10 KANAZAWA

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Overnight stay in Kanazawa. Recommendation: If you want to discover the charming village of Shirakawago, you can take the bus from Kanazawa Station ($). With an early departure, the round trip by bus can easily be done in one day.

DAY 11 KANAZAWA - TOKYO

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Head to Kanazawa Station to catch the train to Tokyo. Overnight stay in Tokyo. Recommendation: Explore the traditional neighborhoods of Asakusa and Ueno, home to the magnificent Senso-ji Temple and Sumida Park. Continue with a stroll through Yanaka, known as old Tokyo.

DAY 12 TOKYO

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Overnight stay in Tokyo. Recommendation: Want to see the famous Mount Fuji? You can take the train ($) from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo to Lake Kawaguchiko to admire it. With an early departure, the round trip by train or bus can easily be done in a day.

DAY 13 TOKYO

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Overnight stay in Tokyo. Recommendation: Visit Meiji-jingu Shrine, then continue on to Harajuku and Omotesando, followed by the Shibuya district. Head to Ginza, a district renowned for its luxury designer boutiques, or Odaiba, an artificial island where you will find shopping malls and activities such as TeamLab and Tokyo Joypolis.

DAY 14 TOKYO

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Overnight stay in Tokyo. Recommendation: Tokyo has several large parks to visit: Tokyo Imperial Garden, Yoyogi Park, Shinjuku Gyoen Park, and Ueno Park. You can admire the cherry blossoms in spring.

DAY 15 TOKYO - DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to your hotel by shared shuttle from your hotel to the airport. Don’t forget to return your Pocket Wifi following the instructions provided.

INFORMATION

For technical reasons, hotels might be changed with similar lodging and steps might be reversed. In Japan, the rooms are usually narrow and the beds are pretty small. Check-in is during the afternoon, around 3-4 PM.

The JR West All Area Pass 7 days:
The train is one of the most convenient and comfortable ways to travel around Japan. With the JR West All Area Pass, you can freely explore the western part of the country for 7 consecutive days. This pass gives you access to most trains on the JR West network, including Shinkansen lines (except Nozomi/Mizuho), express trains, and local lines. It’s ideal for discovering major cities such as Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kanazawa, Fukuoka, and Okayama, while enjoying the speed and efficiency of the Japanese rail network..

The Kanazawa–Tokyo train:
In Japan, the train is undoubtedly one of the best ways to get around quickly and easily. Tokyo is about 2.5–3 hours from Kanazawa. Please note that train schedules will be provided in your travel journal.
