Lake Garda, Venice and Verona

Arrival on your own at the hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is at leisure. In the afternoon, we will be free to relax and explore the charms of Limone sul Garda and its scenic surroundings.

Let’s uncover the beauty of Lake Garda! Three tours are included in our holiday and our guide will provide us with further information locally, including the finalised schedule and departure times. The notice board in our hotel reception area can be checked for details and updates.

Lake Garda by Boat
Join us for a half-day guided boat excursion to discover more of Lake Garda, enjoying the breath-taking scenery and visiting some of the lake’s best-loved locations. Firstly, we’ll join our guide and travel by coach to Riva del Garda, followed by a short walking tour and free time. We’ll then board a private boat for a unique sightseeing tour. Our next stop will be at the popular lakeside town of Malcesine, a charming village with waterside cafes and cobbled streets lined with shops, with free time to explore. Afterwards, with a spectacular mountain backdrop, we’ll travel onwards by boat to Limone, to explore more of the lakeside town and return to hotel. Our tour ends at approximately 4 :00 p.m.

Full Day Excursion and Guided Tour of Verona
Let’s experience the romance of Verona and capture its unique atmosphere on this memorable excursion with our local guide. We’ll depart by coach for Verona, our journey takes about 60 minutes. We’ll uncover the history and legend of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its wealth of historical buildings. Verona is probably best known for its Roman amphitheater, home to the world-famous Verona Opera festival. Get ready to take a romantic photo at Juliet’s balcony, another of the city’s famous highlights!

Full Day Excursion and Guided Tour of Venice
Join us on this exhilarating full day excursion as we explore the enchanting warren of canals, alleys and squares that make up the unforgettable city of Venice. We’ll gaze upon its most famous landmarks, including the thrilling St. Mark’s Square, the architectural marvel that is Ca’ d’Oro, the Rialto Bridge and the imposing Palazzo Ducale. We’ll have plenty of free time to admire more piazzas, bridges and ornate dwellings that adorn the quaysides of Venice’s extensive network of canals, before returning to our hotel in Lake Garda. Our approximate transfer time is 2 hours 30 minutes each way.

Some practical information
Compulsory taxes and levies apply for entry to certain historic cities in Italy and are not included in the holiday price. A fee of €20 per person is payable to your guide, to cover entry to Venice (including water taxi transport to St Mark’s Square).

Leisure Days by the Lake
On our free days, let’s take it easy and get to know our surroundings at an easy pace. We’ll savour the moments in this very special part of the world while relaxing by the shimmering lake, browsing the colourful shops and perhaps enjoying an alfresco lunch or pre-dinner aperitif while watching the world go by.

The time has come to say “arrivederci” to wonderful Italy. After breakfast, check out and transfer on your own to the airport to take your flight home.
