DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN CASABLANCA OR MARRAKESH
Upon arrival at Casablanca or Marrakech airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2 MARRAKESH
The day is dedicated to the discovery of the Red imperial city “Marrakesh la Rouge” with the local guide. We will visit the Koutoubia, fascinating by the beauty of its forms and architecture. We will also see Bahia Palace, a group of houses assembled and arranged to design a Palace at the end of the 19th century, by the Moroccan architect, El Mekki on behalf of the great vizier, Ahmed ben Moussa also known as, Ba Hmad (1841-1900). We will also visit the Medersa ben Youssef. After lunch break (not included), continuation towards the famous square, Jema El Fna, and a walk through the various souks (markets) to see all kinds of wonders for sale. Tonight we have dinner-show in a traditional restaurant in Marrakesh.

DAY 3 MARRAKESH - OUARZAZATE - ZAGORA 197 KM
After breakfast, depart to Ouarzazate, through the High Atlas Mountains, passing by Tizi’ N Tichka (2260 m). Stop in Kasbah d’Ait Ben Haddou, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to take pictures. Continue towards Zagora, via Draa Valley. Visit of Zagora and Amzrou, ancient Jewish village. Dinner and accommodation at your hotel.

DAY 4 ZAGORA- ERFOUD- MERZOUGA 338 KM
After breakfast, departure to Erfoud. Stop in Rissani, Tafilalt’s ancient capital and stop for a visit of Kasbah from the 17th century and the ruins of Ksar Abbar. After your free time for lunch, proceed to Erfoud then Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride where you will soon learn about a Bedouin’s lifestyle. Following that, a guided visit of the surroundings to admire the beautiful sunset. Overnight at a desert camp in nomad tents.

DAY 5 MERZOUGA - ERFOUD - TINGHIR - OUARZAZATE 364 KM
After breakfast, return to Erfoud and departure to Ouarzazate, via Tinghir, a charming town known for its magnificent palm-grove and its famous Todra Gorge. We then cross Dades valley Kelaa M’gouna (the City of Roses) and Skoura. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 6 OUARZAZATE - MARRAKESH
After breakfast, stop at the Taourirt Kasbah, a citadel set against the backdrop of the Atlas Mountains. Departure for Marrakesh by passing through Tizi N‘ Tichka, the highest mountain in Northern Africa. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

The stars attributed to hotels in Morocco are based on the North African standards. We consider one or two stars lower than the American or European standards. The hotels are safe, clean and well located, Riads are charming and special accommodation that are not rated. They are often located inside the medina (old historic center) and a short walk through the pedestrian streets can be required to get to the Riad. Similar hotels can come back confirmed. The official list of accommodation will be remitted along with the travel documents, 3 weeks prior to departure.
