Morocco, a North African country bordering the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, is distinguished by its Berber, Arab and European cultural influences. Marrakech’s medina, a labyrinthine medieval quarter, offers a lively Djemaa EL-Fna square and souks (markets) selling ceramics, jewelry and metal lanterns. The Kasbah des Oudayas, in the capital Rabat, is a 12th-century royal fort overlooking the water.

DAY 1 MARRAKECH

Arrival at Marrakech-Menara airport, welcome and transfer to hotel in Marrakech. After check-in, enjoy a day of relaxation followed by a welcome dinner with live entertainment. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2 MARRAKECH

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll set off on a guided tour of Marrakech, including iconic sites, such as, Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Bahia Palace and the Medina. In the evening, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3 MARRAKECH – OUARZAZATE 193 KM

After breakfast, departure for Ouarzazate through the spectacular scenery of the High Atlas. On arrival, you’ll settle into your hotel and have free time to explore the city, also known as, the gateway to the desert. Browse the souks or visit its fabulous kasbahs. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4 OUARZAZATE – MERZOUGA 370 KM

After breakfast, you’ll set off for Merzouga, passing through desert landscapes and Berber villages. On arrival, you’ll take a camel ride to a desert bivouac where you’ll spend the night under the stars. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 5 MERZOUGA – FEZ 460 KM

After admiring the sunrise over the dunes and having breakfast, you will leave Merzouga for Fez. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon and settle into your hotel, with free time to explore the city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6 FEZ

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting off on a guided tour of Fez, including the Medina of Fez, the tanneries and the famous medersas. You’ll discover the history and culture of this imperial city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7 FEZ – CHEFCHAOUEN 196 KM

After breakfast, you’ll set off for Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous blue city. On arrival, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of its picturesque streets and iconic sites. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8 CHEFCHAOUEN – TANGIER 112 KM

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Tangier. On arrival, you’ll have free time to explore this historic port city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 9 TANGIER – RABAT – CASABLANCA 330 KM

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where you’ll enjoy a brief visit. Then on to Casablanca. On arrival, you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy some free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 10 CASABLANCA – MARRAKECH 245 KM

After breakfast, you’ll take a panoramic tour of Casablanca, including the Hassan II Mosque (exterior) and the Habous district. You will then be transferred to Marrakech. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner in a traditional restaurant. Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 11 MARRAKECH

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be transferred to Marrakech-Menara airport for your departure, marking the end of your stay in Morocco.

The stars attributed to hotels in Morocco are based on the North African standards. We consider one or two stars lower than the American or European standards. The hotels are safe, clean and well located, Riads are charming and special accommodation that are not rated. They are often located inside the medina (old historic center) and a short walk through the pedestrian streets can be required to get to the Riad. Similar hotels can come back confirmed. The official list of accommodation will be remitted along with the travel documents, 3 weeks prior to departure.
