LOCATION: The Sol Puerto Marina (previously known as the Sol Timor) on Carihuela Beach is neighbor to the Aloha Puerto. There is an on-site grocery store and the resort is surrounded by dining and entertainment facilities. The marina is at few minutes walking distance and a bus stop nearby takes you to Málaga, Fuengirola or Marbella.
Only 8 km from Malaga airport, this is probably the most popular destination. Bou­tiques, restaurants, nightlife, and the good public transportation services are only a few of the reasons why this region is in demand. Everybody loves the 9 km boardwalk, known as the Paseo Maritimo. It houses a great selection of boutiques and restau­rants, all along the beach. The city centre of Torremolinos is up the hill therefore you can take the steep but charming street of San Miguel or the funicular to get up to the town and get a feel of the local life.
